Mike James
is responsible for the daily content of NewsBlues.
The former sports anchor of Orlando's WFTV, Louisville's WHAS,
& Cleveland's WKYC, he helped cover the 1976 Montreal
Olympics for NBC's Today. Mike
is a University of Florida graduate and a multiple Emmy winner.
He left
television in 1980 to write for magazines and newspapers and was a regular
contributor to the Washington Post and Miami Herald.
The Orlando Sentinel
nominated him for a
Pulitzer Prize in feature writing in 1995.
A private pilot,
award-winning photographer and former pro
water skier, he has written two novels, neither of which amounted to squat.

Mona
Scott
writes a popular daily broadcast grammar column in NewsBlues,
called "Mrs. B's Grammar Yammer."
She has also published a text book on grammar.
A former
primary anchor at
Cleveland's WKYC and two Columbus stations, WCMH and WBNS,
Mona also anchored mornings at Orlando's WKMG.
She retired from
television in 1998, after a 28 year career. Mona is a graduate of Bethany
College and is a multiple Emmy winner.
Mona
volunteers at the Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings Historic State Park in
Cross Creek, where she gives tours of The Yearling author's Cracker
farmhouse.
