Mike James
is responsible for the daily content of NewsBlues.

A former sports anchor at Orlando's WFTV, Louisville's WHAS, Cleveland's WKYC, and NBC News in New York, Mike is a University of Florida graduate.

He left television in 1980 to write for magazines and newspapers and was a regular contributor to the Washington Post and Miami Herald.
The Orlando Sentinel nominated him for a
Pulitzer Prize in feature writing in 1995.

A private pilot, award-winning photographer, and former pro water skier, he has written two novels, neither of which amounted to squat. For thrills, he drives a Carrera 997S in Porsche Club of America race events.

Mona Scott
writes a popular daily broadcast grammar column in NewsBlues, called "Mrs. B's Grammar Yammer."  She has also written and published a text book on broadcasting grammar.

A former primary anchor at Cleveland's WKYC and two Columbus stations, WCMH and WBNS, Mona also anchored mornings at Orlando's WKMG.

She retired from television in 1998, after a 28 year career. Mona is a graduate of Bethany College and is a multiple Emmy winner.

Mona volunteers at the Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings Historic State Park in Cross Creek, where she gives tours of The Yearling author's Cracker farmhouse.

Mike and Mona live in horse country near the north central Florida town of Reddick.
In Mike's spare time, he tends to an enormous vegetable garden and raises honey bees.
Mona is still trying to teach her golden retriever to speak Spanish, which has proven to be especially difficult since Mona can't speak Spanish either.
